Improving the historic environment to stimulate economic growth and tourism potential.

The shopping area of this charming town grew from a medieval market, with the development of a network of delightful side streets. However, the architectural character of the town is predominately late 18th Century to 19th Century. Its shop fronts are of particularly good quality, with lovely detailing and a range of styles. It has become a known hub for antiques stores.

How the Leominster High Street Heritage Action Zone will help

Improvements to the buildings' facade, implementation of traffic control measures, and improvements to Corn Square will undoubtedly help to enhance and maintain the area's vibrancy.
